While all martial arts by there nature are inherently dangerous, we strive to provide an environment where respect for your training partners physical and mental wellbeing take precedence. While we provide safety equipment its there just in case and should not take the place of common sense and curtesy.
Sorry we have an over 18's policy in place.
Are structured classes can be very active however Historical martial arts can be a great way to get more active while having fun doing it.
So am I. While its true I train predominately righthanded I also train with left.
A approved safe training sword. Yes. Just let the instructor see and handle it before hand. They will be able to tell you if its safe to use in class or not.

Water, sensible training clothing and a good attitude.
While we don't insist on a dress code, anybody who dresses in anything that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate will be asked to change or come back another time. repeat offenders will be banned from attending.
Yes. Once you have appropriate insurance cover and your own equipment there is nothing stopping you from entering any number of competitions or sparring days. Solo lessons are also available for those that want to put in that extra time before a competition.
