School founder Dirk Newmann
Dirk founded the school in 2004 and has been teaching Historical Martial arts since 2001. He has also taught horse archery. With patience and understanding he has taken several students through the process of becoming instructors in there own right.
Head Instructor Chris Newham
Chris started with sport fencing and reached county level while he has studded a various martial arts he first discovered HEMA with the Georgian Small-Sword.
He joined GSA in 2012. Studding under Principle Instructor Dirk Neumann he completed his instructor certification in 2016, since then he has gone on to develop the schools weapon disciplines. He has now gone on to run the school outright while Dirk takes a much needed break.
Instructor Lucien
Lucien Lee always had an interest in swordsmanship. He begun with foil fencing, and moved on to HEMA. He was an assistant instructor at Glamorgan School of Arms for several years and studied under Principle Instructor Dirk Neumann. In his time at GSA, Lucien had taught courses on a number of subjects like Italian dagger, German Messer and Mair's Poleaxe. Prior to moving back to Singapore, Lucien completed his instructors certification by the British Federation for historical Swordplay, he has since gone on to open his own sister school in Singapore.

Instructor Langley Qu
Langley is an avid practitioner of swordplay. She studied under Principle Instructor Dirk Neumann at Glamorgan School of Arms, and had assisted with various courses throughout her time there. Langley completed her free scholar test specializing in Italian Longsword. She strongly believes that women can learn swordsmanship as well as men and can be regularly found teaching at BastionHEMA.
